Striving to be an "open-door" church, actively REACHing

and welcoming all persons."

The Steward Board

The Steward Board is a vital ministry within the African Methodist Episcopal Church, entrusted with the spiritual, financial, and administrative support of the pastor and the
congregation. Stewards are servant-leaders who help ensure that the church operates in good order, faithfulness, and accountability, in accordance with AME Discipline and
biblical principles. The Steward Board is more than a governing body—it is a ministry of service, sacrifice, and spiritual responsibility. Stewards are entrusted with the care of God’s people, the support of God’s servant, and the faithful management of God’s resources. Through prayerful leadership and committed service, the Steward Board helps strengthen the mission and ministry of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
